Drumthwacket, New Jersey Governor's Residence, Princeton, NJ

The original gardens at Drumthwacket were designed in the Italianesque style at the end of the 19th century. Due to age, neglect, and complete demolition, a new design was required. Our design reflects the current usage of the space. Tours of the mansion and grounds, public events, and official state functions take place within the gardens. The design combines some of the classic garden lines with current plant introductions. Hidden Valley has been involved with the site for over 20 years and continues to provide improvements.
